Why I Built Metaphysical Bible Journey (and why now)
It's not easy writing about yourself. But sometimes your story is exactly what someone else needs to hear.
About twenty years ago, I discovered something that changed everything I thought I knew about the Bible. But here's what I learned the hard way: having incredible "aha" moments and actually knowing how to live them are two completely different things.
It began in a Unity in Chicago. For the first time in my life, I was hearing the Bible interpreted metaphysically, not as historical events frozen in time, or when something didn’t make sense, hearing the “have faith” mantra, but as a living roadmap for spiritual transformation. Every parable, every story, suddenly became deeply personal.
It was like someone had finally handed me the decoder ring to ancient wisdom that had been hiding in plain sight my entire life.
The healing of Naaman? That was about my own resistance to simple solutions and learning to humble myself to receive healing. The prodigal son? My journey home to my authentic self. David and Goliath? Every fear I'd ever faced and conquered from a place of divine connection.
I was hooked. This wasn't just an intellectual exercise, it was soul recognition.
But then life happened, as it does, and I didn’t pursue it further at the time.
The insights were powerful, transformative even. But they felt disconnected from my daily reality. How do you live this profound wisdom when I was more concerned about the next mortgage loan I could find? I was in the mortgage banking profession for over 30 years. How do you make ancient parables transform your modern problems with career, money, and purpose?
I had all these beautiful revelations sitting in my head like unused gifts, while I continued living the same patterns, the same struggles, the same disconnection from who I knew I could be.
Fast forward through years of searching, studying, and growing. I earned my master's degree in metaphysics. The intellectual foundation was solid, but something was still missing.
Then in 2021, I began intensive training as an ontological coach. That's when lightning struck.
Ontology, the study of being itself, of who we are at our core, became the missing bridge I'd been searching for all those years. It showed me not just what the ancient wisdom meant, but HOW to embody it. How to become it.
Suddenly, I wasn't just understanding the metaphysical teachings; I was living them. The gap between insight and embodiment began to close.
Look around. We're living in the most uncertain times of recorded history. Fear dominates the headlines. Drama pulls at us from every direction. It's so easy to get seduced by the low-energy chaos and lose touch with our essence, our true authentic self. In fact, the outer world wishes nothing less than never having us connect with our authentic selves.
But here's what I've learned: people are hungry for something real. Something that actually works in their daily lives. Not more information or spiritual concepts, but fundamental transformation that you can bring into your life and have it make a positive and lasting difference. Said differently, to be able to embody the ancient wisdom.
The ancient wisdom has never been more relevant, but it needs to be accessible in a way that meets us where we are, not in some idealized spiritual realm, but in our messy, beautiful, complicated modern world.
That's why I created Metaphysical Bible Journey.
It's not just about understanding ancient wisdom intellectually, it's about becoming the person that wisdom reveals you already are. By combining metaphysical interpretation with ontological principles, we gain more than just insights sitting in our heads. We transform into alignment with our divine nature.
We learn to go within and connect to our divine wisdom, not as an occasional spiritual practice, but as a way of being in the world.
When you combine these two powerful approaches, something magical happens:
The metaphysical interpretation gives you the "aha" moments, those lightning bolt realizations about who you really are and what's possible for your life.
The ontological principles give you the embodiment, the actual tools, and awareness to live from that divine wisdom in every moment, every relationship, every decision.
Together, they create a path that's both mystical and practical, both ancient and urgently relevant to our modern challenges.
The world needs people who can access their divine wisdom from within. People who can remain centered in their authentic self, even when chaos swirls around them. People who can be living examples of the love, peace, compassion, and wisdom that these ancient teachings point us toward.
Maybe you're one of those people.
Perhaps you've experienced moments of spiritual insight that felt life-changing, but somehow they didn't translate into your daily life.
Maybe you've sensed there's more to these ancient texts than you've been taught, and you're ready to discover what that "more" might be.
If any of this resonates, you're exactly who I created this journey for.
Because the wisdom has always been there, waiting. The question is: Are you ready to embody it?
What's your experience been with bridging spiritual insights and daily life? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
